Estancia

Today was an amazing day: we had a day off and just chilled at an estancia (farm). We did not have anything planned so we just all chilled and walked the grounds, played some baseball with a stick, sung some songs, and did some interpretive dancing. : ) it was really a blast. I really felt like I was enjoying my self and had time to think. The day started off with this photo. This was my first photo of the day; and it dictaed the rest of my day an awesome photo day.

The day was just so much fun:
And then we went to Dylan this ice shop.. omg. it was great. I have chocolate con almendras ferrero rocher, mango c/naranja it was so AMAZING. the blog pic post is being slow, so I will add them tomorrow but today was AWESOME.
on a sad note. I couldn't go see twlight but I am trying for sunday: (

Recovery, Futbol, & Pumpkin Grits

So, today is monday and yesterday Jesus Calling had a beautiful message for me. It told me: Rest with me a while. You have journeyed up a steep, rugged path in recent days. The way ahead is shrouded in uncertainty. Look neither behind you nor before you. Instead, focus your attention on Me, your constant Companion. Trust that I will equip you fully for whatever awaits you on your journey. So I am going to make Jesus' advice and look neither behind me nor before and live in the present.

So on Saturday, I was feeling my self again, and I went to my favorite cafe here. Its called Nonna Bianca and had a cafe con leche and two medialunes. in the pictures is an alfajor and I had that the first time I ate at Nonna Bianca. But I love the atmosphere, it is very cozy. : )

Well I chilled there all day and did some work for this week. I also got my laundry done for the first time : ) After being at the cafe all day, Kaitlin and Me decided to make dinner for the first time. We made pasta & corn. What a combo. But it was good! I felt like a real cook. I think this trip might get me cooking for real because groceries are so cheap and eating out is so inexpensive. I guess the same is true in the United States but here you can really tell the different. So, I will become Chef Champion. My Mom would be proud lol.

Two of my fellow friends enjoying the MEAL : )

After our dinner it was an early turn in for me. Then Sunday was FUTBUL... second round. and it was awesome. I mean the whole city of buenos aires when to the obelisco, which is this huge monument in the center of the city. It was re-donk-u-lous! it was so amazing. But here is probably my favorite picture from that day. it was so AWESOME

So that was my weekend and it was GREAT. today, i went to the cattle market and got an interview can't wait for y'all to see the finished product but I have two highlights. I had pumpkin grits in the cafe it was such a delight and quite tasty.

The second highlight is a praise report. A young lady found my wallet in the cab and called my parents in the United States to return it to me. what favor and grace. : ) but i think that is all for now. I need to be working on my presentation for tonight. yekks.

My Story. God's Glory

Me working with my coach Chris Sinclair, he is awesome and is a believer. Couldn't ask for a better coach.

Before I came on this trip, while I was on the ENCM beach trip, I had a really funny feeling about this summer, and that I may go through a desert. and I think that is what is happening. I am fighting for control over my mind. God is teaching me more and more everyday about faith. I am in this really weird state of mind where I believe everything will work out but what if it doesn't. I would be okay with that but I am trying to figure out what that means. What does that mean for God's love towards me.

Let me elaborate my last week. I have been attacked on all sides. The devil attached my story; which completely feel apart and i had to start a new one. He attached my body, my physical being for the last two days I have been really sick and I actually pooped on myself (you can laugh). He attacked my finances, I lost my wallet. And to top it off all this happened in one day.

But I am not defeated. The taxi cab recovered my wallet and called my parents all the way in the USA. PRAISE GOD. : ) The devil can not penetrate my mind. He has gotten close these last few days but GOD IS VICTORY. and all of this is for his glory. MY story his glory. My God has plan to prosper me and not to harm me.

So here are so pictures from my first story

My first story was about Elosia Cartonera, it is this publishing house that makes their books out of cardbook all my hand. It is a really cool thing but not really cool subjects.

Some pictures with my new story:
My new story is about the worlds largest cattle market. so stay tuned.

VAMOS ARGENTINA!!! : )

WHOA! So yesterday I got the opportunity to shoot fan watching the Argentina vs. Greece game. And of course Argentina won.. and I had an amazing time shooting it. alot of fun and reaction. I actually got into the drum circle and started dancing with the local till this creeper : ( started touching me and I like I'M OUT. But i feel like I am really experiencing Argentina and it makes me very happy : ). These people are beautiful and have so much passion. God is really teaching me how to see him through everything. all the small joys. I was sitting in a room when I was feeling a little discouraged and this man made a face that I only saw and I know it was God. He is always trying to bring me into his presence and I am very thankful for that because his presence is everything: joyful, loving, caring, etc. I trust God with my life.
