PASSION

Hey Everybody

So yesterday I worked/read all day and then went to a legit. TANGO SHOW. It was crazy. So, yesterday I figured out why I am so into Tango and Eclipse. Its because of passion. I am a passionate person if you know, and eclipse is passionate. Just listen to this: "Sleep, my Bella. Dream happy dreams. You are the only one who has ever touched my heart. It will always be yours. Sleep, my only love." WHAT. who says that Edward is so passionate about Bella and if you watch Tango its all about PASSION. So, I was at the Tango show and I was taking pictures and instantly a picture reminded me of Eclipse, the book, NOT THE MOVIE.

If you just take a moment and look at these pictures. The girl with the guy is in the red light, respects Bella and Jacob, and the girl, who should be a guy (Edward) in the blue light, cold, is in the distance singing to her. Jacob is trying to pull Bella away, and Edward just sings to her. That's one thing about the movie, I am being reminded of as I am rereading the book is that Edward was TOTALLY understanding of Bella and her relationship with Jacob. Unlike the movie, were he was made to be jealous and over controlling. In the book, Edward was protective at first but once he understood, he understood because he was passionate about Bella, and loved whatever she wanted. Movies, they never get it right.

But here are so much pictures of Tango; I love how they are connected through Tango its very much a one person dance because both bodies are moving so in sync with each other. I will add those other pictures today. : )

Love. Faith. Peace

Kaitlin's 21st

WHOA.. so Kaitlin turned 21 yesterday, whoop whoop and guess what we did. We went to a disco in Palermo after working all day. It was AWESOME = AMAZING : ) We went to this place called Brujas-Madagascar and we eat and dance a little while we eat. Well, I dance while I ate. I ate this hamburger. OMG, i have to tell you. I feel like every burger that I have eaten till last night was a TRICK. I had real beef. : ) Well after dinner, we went downstair and yes we did, we participated in this dance competition, and WON. Me and Kaitlin went onstage for her birthday and Won a bottle of CHAMPAGNE. "We pop champagne." not really but yesterday we did. It was magical. We danced the night away, and I get to check going to a disco off my list. RESULT. : ) Tonight I am going to Tango : ) and then to Flor's house for a get together. Yesterday my only regret was not taking pictures but I didn't want anyone to know I had an SRL in my purse. But trust and believe it did happen. Tonight, I will conquer the night with pictures ♥

Going to the Hospital in Buenos Aires

So... today I woke up and my swollen left side of my face had gotten worse and my maybe hives on the left side of my arm hadn't gone away either so I decided to go to the hospital. Pat and his lovely wife occupied me to the hospital and we went to Hospital Aleman.. translated German hospital. That's funny I went to a german hospital in a spanish country. : ) jajaja. The hospital was great though. My doctors name was Esteban and he was so nice. He couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong. He just said things didn't add up because if it was a food allergy. I would have swelling in my throat but i do not. If it was bug bite on my arm why was it on my face. So he gave me some medicine and we are doing a trial and error type procedure. Which, I am down for, but my first experience at a hospital in BA was great. I could tell it really bothered the doctor that he didn't know what was wrong and that the language barrier might make it difficult to figure out. Once I got back to UCA all the student were so awesome making sure that I was okay and seeing if they could help. I really appreciate everyone help because when your sick all you want is your mom or whoever you consider family. Everyone here has been great about acknowledging that fact and doing everything they can to help. Now its time to edit the day away. Final deadline for spanish version and english subtitles is TODAY : ). I am about to rock the day out. love. faith and peace. ♥ keep me in your prayers

Bluesgrass in BA & another estancia

Ok, so this post will be long with no pictures. or maybe one pic. I will add tons of pictures tomorrow. SO. Friday night I went to this bluegrass jam in SoHo palermo at an art gallery and there was this guy that was performing from Chapel Trill, AP knew him. Well this guys was incredible. He went though the history of Bluegrass from Irish (celtic), blues, country blues, old time, gospel, etc. He played several different instruments like the harmonica when he was singing blues, he played the banjo and the violin it was completely incredible. This guy was truly a musician and it was a definite refresher for Country music 101. I knew a lot of what he was referring too. That was my friday night and I also had my first champagne it was really strong but good.
Saturday you know about because I blogged.

And now for today. Today we went to a more touristy estancia like an 1 and a 1/2 away from home. Itwas awesome. When we arrived there they had empanadas out to eat. We could ride horses and a carriage. I rode a horse and it was so liberating. I did really feel bad for the horses
because they just have to ride people around all day. After that we had a GREAT feast. I am talking about rounds after rounds of meat! : ) then they played some traditional dance and music which was once again amazing. and then they had the horse show. The horse show had to be my favorite. Not only did they have horse gymnastics where horseman were balancing on two horses at one time but they had horse yoga. This horseman/gaucho was doing yoga with a horse it was CRA CRA : ). The gaucho also play this game where they have to put this metal rod through this ring and if they do it they get to give the girl the ring and she gives him a kiss .. ♥

guess what.. I got a ring : ) .. lol. it was really really fun. Some people do not really enjoy tourist traps but they do serve a purpose. I really got to learn about different things in a fun overboard way. It made me smile : )

After our estancia trip, we finally had fellowship and it was really what I needed and I think a
lot of other people needed to. We were able to just really lift people up and ask them what they needed and how this trip was for them and you really committed to praying for the group and their certain needs/desires. It was truly a blessing and I was so encouraged especially to hear just people being honest with themselves. Pat also had a word for me and it was that I was a sunset that I truly has this aroma of sun and light and that just brought real humblest to me. I know that is God and I am so thankful that he has given me his joy to share with the world. I have just really been learning about My Story, God's Glory.

After prayer you know exactly where I went. ECLIPSE again. this time it was so different for me. I really have to read the book now. but it just struck me that it is possible to love two people at one time but you always have to make a choice. it just really sucks for the other people. when I was reading the book. I was never really fond of Jacob but in movie I really had to give him credit because he did all he could. he did not want to live life regretting not trying to get the girl he loves. that makes sense. But that was my night. today i thought a lot about someone who I never really got on right terms with and I wonder if I need to do something about it. I am going to pray about it and seek God's face because relationships like that are so dangerous, especially if you want to wrong a right without getting sucked back in.

Twlight Eclipse

So i'll make this short and sweet. I went to the futbul match today at the obelisco and they showed the match on a gaint tv but it was sad : ( because Argentina lost to Germany 0-4, : (

it was so sad I will have to post some pictures later but then the rest of the day was an editing day and by my surprise Katelin was like lets do something and I was like yes, lets : )..

so Kaitlin and I went and saw ECLIPSE, yes RESULT. I will have more feedback on it tomorrow because guess what I am going to see it again. Yes you heard me! First impression: well done. it remembered me about a lot of things in the book I didn't remember, like the kiss with Jacob. Intense. I did not really like how the rushed the end with the new vampire, Bre, that I had read about. I loved that they told jasper and rosalie's story. condensed version but it counts. so those are first impression.

Tomorrows post will be super long because I have to tell you about my night with Bluesgrass in Argentina. and all the wonderful thing I will be doing tomorrow. well good night. : )

one of my favorite scenes of the movie. cant wait till breaking dawn. summer 2011 : ) ♥

Pain is Universally

This Blog was suppose to be for yesterday but I could not find internet anywhere when I had time to write. Well yesterday I went to my first asado here in Argentina with my Cattle Market family and it was GREAT. I told them that I had to get this to my father some how. Dad i am going to try my hardest to get you some of this steak. its like no other.

My subject are so sweet. They gave me so much meat. I didn't even need to eat dinner. it was amazing. and I was in love. ♥ I love life ! My subjects are the sweetest they gave me my very first mata cup too : )

But yesterday I learned a lot about universally pain. I came here to this university (uca) with a mind set that the students that go here are kind of like the students that go to DUKE. (not that bad) but financially they have a lot of money so I stereotyped. Which is awful but true. But I learned a lesson. I had a serious talk with my uca partner today/yesterday and learned a lot about how she is as a person, with no judgements, and what she has experienced as a human being. it was really sad and i felt like I got to really know someone I had put up a guard to because of who I thought they were. It was a humbling experience and I thank God for allowing me to have that opportunity.

And tonight I will go dance BLUEGRASS. hola. : )
